DIRECTOR:

MADISON MORRIS, MS, RDN, LD
Between her professional backgrounds in both the arts and sciences and her own health journey as a cancer survivor, Ms. Morris brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to the proverbial table.

BALLET: Ms. Morris has performed on a variety of stages dancing with the Inland Pacific Ballet (Principal), Houston Ballet (Corps de Ballet), and Anaheim Ballet and performing at galas and festivals across the country. She has danced styles ranging from classical and character to modern and contemporary and has performed notable roles including protagonists (Cinderella in “Cinderella”), antagonists (Seawitch in “The Little Mermaid”), and everything in between (Snow Queen, Dew Drop, acting/character roles, etc). She has performed in works by several acclaimed choreographers such as Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, John Cranko, George Balanchine, Sir Ben Stevenson, Mark Morris, Christopher Wheeldon, Garrett Smith, and in world premiers such as Stanton Welch’s “Marie” and “La Bayadere” and Emma Andres’ “Little Women Ballet.” Ms. Morris has been a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) since 2010. While her primary home is the stage, Ms Morris is also a SAG-eligible performing artist with experience in commercial dance and modeling. She has appeared in a number of publications including a book (i.e. “The Telling Image”) and magazines ranging from local to national (i.e. Dance Magazine, Pointe, Dance Advantage, Arts & Culture Texas, etc). During her time performing and touring with Houston Ballet, she was honored with two awards from Houston Ballet and was recognized nationally as a YoungArts Finalist and Winner by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA). Prior to her professional career, Ms. Morris’ pre-professional training included Houston Ballet II, Houston Ballet Academy, School of American Ballet, and Ad Deum Dance. 

TEACHING: With well over a decade of experience as an educator, Ms. Morris has gained extensive acclaim as an educator and coach. She has taught ballet in numerous settings and is ranked the #1 Dance Coach on CoachUp.

ONCO-BALLET: Ms. Morris serves as the Assistant Director of Programming for Onco-Ballet. She also serves on the Medical Advisory Board and as an Onco-Ballet Teacher and Choreographer.

NUTRITION: As a registered dietitian nutritionist, Ms. Morris works in outpatient counseling supporting clients via telehealth. TEACHING STAFF:

MARIA EUGENIA BIEBERACH SANCHEZ, ballet dancer and teacher, studied at Higher College of Ballet in Lima, Peru and graduated with honors. She was awarded a scholarship to pursue further training at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After being a company dancer at the Ballet Municipal de Lima Peru under Lucy Telge for a year, she became a lecturer at the same company. She was a Soloist at the National Ballet de Peru for 17 years.
She studied Pedagogics in Santiago de Chile. She was evaluated by the Royal Academy of Dance in Great Britain and received a distinction with honors. She has been a lecturer and teacher in several ballet schools in Peru. She was Ballet Mistress at Artisan School of Dance in Houston for about eight years total, during which she also served as guest teacher at the Western Ballet summer program in Mountain View, CA. She left briefly to teach at San Jose Ballet School, but returned to Houston and continued her post at Artisan School of Dance for her final 5.5 years. She’s choreographed many dances in Acts I and II of The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Coppelia. She also worked at TKB Center for Ballet and Dance, which was owned by Tina Kay Bohnstedt. She currently works with Spark Create, where she’s choreographed for Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

GENIE LANFEAR was born in San Antonio Texas where she began her ballet training. At fourteen she moved to Dallas to study under Natasha Krasovska before moving to New York to attend School of American Ballet (SAB) on scholarship. In 1975 she joined Lyric Opera Ballet with artistic director Maria Tallchief and had the opportunity to work with George Balanchine. In 1980 she attended Houston Ballet Academy and a year later joined the company under the direction of Ben Stevenson. Ms Lanfear danced as a company member of Houston Ballet for twelve years. She returned to Houston Ballet in 2006-2013 as the shoe coordinator Ms. Lanfear has taught ballet for over twenty years including teaching for Houston Ballet and the University of Houston. She owns her own Pilates studio in historic downtown Houston.

ANNA-CAISON ROGUSKI is a teacher, choreographer, and performer from South Carolina. She graduated from Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of Dance and Entertainment Business with a Bachelor of Science in American Dance Pedagogy in 2020. She accepted a teaching assistantship position at the University at Buffalo SUNY, where she earned her Master of Fine Arts in Dance. While in Buffalo, she focused her studies on jazz dance, deepening her choreographic practice and engaging with the exciting scholarship around the genre’s history and evolving identity. She was able to create and perform in many exciting new pieces, including choreographing twice for the Zodiaque Dance Company. After graduation, she moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition to teaching at several studios, she became a teaching artist for Attack Theatre, working to provide engaging and uplifting arts education in local schools. She was an adjunct professor at Chatham University, teaching a seminar on the history of dance around the world. She performed in several new pieces in the local arts community and showcased her new contemporary jazz work, The Wind Has a Name, at the Texture Choreography Project. She relocated to Houston in the summer of 2025, and shared her new extended version of the piece in Mind the Gap at the Midtown Arts and Theatre Center in December. In April 2026, she showcased The Wind Has a Name again at Barnstorm Dance Fest! She looks forward to continuing to teach and create in the Houston area!
